1. Make a 400x400 document. Now press "D" on your keyboard to reset the foreground and background colors to black and white. Make sure your background is white.
2. Now apply select the paint brush tool, go to the top menu and select your brush:
I used the scattered rose brush.
302 px is what I used...
Ok now you got the brush settings all done, make a new layer and make the rose right in the middle, just click once or you will get a whole bunch of scattered roses. Unless you want more then one rose click more then once!
Ok here is my rose in the middle. I had a black background but noticed the rose looks better on a white background. So I changed that later. So keep your background white.

Select the inner glow as well but use the default settings for inner glow (yellow).
4. Right click the rose layer and Duplicate it. Change the inner glow settings for the duplicated rose settings. All we do is change the color to purple to add more color to the rose:
So the top rose layer has a purple inner glow and the layer below it has a yellow inner glow. Get it? Got it? Good! Here is my final effect:
Save the style and try making a scattered rose background and apply the new rose style you just made to it and there you go, you just created a nice piece of artwork from a simple brush.
