Wood Frame

We'll begin this tutorial, by creating a new canvas with a size of 400 x 400. Make sure the foreground is black and the background is white, then go to the main menu and choose "Filter" then "Render" and lastly, "Clouds."

Go to the main menu once again and select "Filter" then "Blur" and then "Motion Blur." Use the settings below.

You should now have the following.

Now go to the main menu and choose "Filter" then "Render" and lastly, "Fibers."

Next go to the main menu and choose "Edit" then "Fade."

You should now have the following.

Next go to the main menu once again and choose "Edit" then "Free Transform" and transform the layer as I have done below, and hit "Enter" on your keyboard.

Next go to the main menu and choose "Image" then "Adjustments" and lastly "Hue/Saturation"

You should now have the following.

Now grab the "Polygonal Lasso Tool" and make a selection as I have done below. To get the 45 degree angle, just hold the "Shift" key in on your keyboard. Do the same to the bottom portion of the slat as well.

Now grab the "Line Tool" and set the weight to 2 pixels. Draw the line now while holding the "Shift" key in on your keyboard to make a straight line.

Go to the main menu once again and select "Filter" then "Blur" and then "Gaussian Blur." Use the settings below.

You should now have the following.

Now grab the "Line Tool" again and set the weight to 1 pixel. Make sure the foreground is now white and draw the line now while holding the "Shift" key in on your keyboard to make a straight line.

Go to the main menu once again and select "Filter" then "Blur" and then "Gaussian Blur." Use the settings below.

You should now have the following.

Duplicate the layer and rotate as I have already done below to all the sides.

The Results!!!

To finish this tutorial I merged all four slats together and added a "Color Overlay" of FF0000 (red), set the "Blending Mode" to "Overlay" and turned the opacity way down. I also added some "Drop Shadow" and obviously a photo.
