1 |  | Photograph a sequence of photos of an object at different locations. Ensure that the position of the photos are identical by placing the camera on a surface or tripod. Open (Ctrl+O) the first image of the sequence. |
2 |  | Place the second image of the sequence (File> Place). |
3 |  | Press Enter to place the image. |
4 |  | Change the blending mode of the top layer to Difference. |
5 |  | Using the arrow keys on the keyboard, nudge the image so that most of the image turns black except for the area where the object is moving. |
6 |  | Add a layer mask to the current layer (Layer> Add Layer Mask> Revel All). |
7 |  | With the layer mask selected, use the Apply Image tool (Image> Apply Image) to apply the following properties: Layer: Merged Channel: RGB Invert: Unchecked Blending: Normal Opacity: 100% |
8 |  | Change the blending mode of the current layer back to Normal. |
9 |  | With the layer mask selected, use the Eraser tool (E) to erase the areas where the current layer should not overlap. Use the Brush tool (B) to paint over the areas where the current layer should overlap. |
10 |  | Repeat steps 2-9 for any other images that are part of the sequence. |
