We'll begin this tutorial, by selecting the "Type Tool." Select Verdana, Bold as the typeface at a size of 81. Type "glass".
Now that you have your text, you can now right click on the glass layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Drop Shadow".
Do not click OK yet... still more to do
Now click on "Inner Shadow".
Do not click OK yet... still more to do.
Now click on "Bevel and Emboss".
Do not click OK yet... still more to do.
Now click on "Satin".
Do not click OK yet... still more to do.
Now click on "Color Overlay".
You may now click OK.
You should now have the following.
Now select the "Pen Tool" and draw a wavy effect as illustrated below using White as the color.
Now "Ctrl" click the "glass" text layer to create a selection around it and go to "Selection" then "Modify" and lastly "Contract" by 1.
Then go to the main menu once again and click on "Select" and lastly "Inverse". Now rasterize the new shape layer that you drew with the "Pen Tool", then go to "Edit" and lastly "Cut". Then turn the Fill down to 0%.
Now right click on the new layer and select, "Blending Options...". Now click on "Gradient Overlay".
You may now click OK.
