Text Blending

Alrighty some people dont know how to blend text correctly so i hope this will be of use to everyone. I use Photoshop CS2 so when i say click this and you dont have it just go and download cs2 its so much better.

Firstly lets get our background done with all the brushing and boarder. This is mine.

Ok now that you have that all done lets get to the text blending. Firstly you want to type your text out. Ok for this im just going to use my tag Father.Vinyard.

Ok now lets add some cool effects before we blend. Now go and right click on your text layer and go to blending options. Once in there we will click drop shadow/outer glow/inner glow/bevel and emboss/ and contour. Now just click ok and you will get something like this.

Now go to layer>rasterize>layer. After that grab your pollygonal lasso tool and put the feather at 15px. Now just go around the text with the lasso. It doesnt have to be perfect but just keep it close to the sides. It should only take about 3 seconds max. Now after your finished it will make an oval shape and just right click and go to select inverse. Now press backspace untill you like how it is blended. After ur done with that just drop the opacity down untill it looks perfect. I like this effect because it adds a secretive effect and just makes your sig more badass. Now your done ENJOY.
