The Flaming Effect

So here we go:

Open Adobe photoshop

Choose white foreground and black background.

Create a new file in grayscale mode and choose 400 x 200 as the canvas size. Choose the contents as Background colour:

Now type whatever u want to flame. In this case, I'll type my name "Ultimate Z Fighter":

Now rasterize it using Layer>Rasterize>Type.

Create a duplicate of the layer Layer>Duplicate Layer. In the dialog box that appears, choose the Destination as new. This will duplicate your layer to a new document.

Now, switch back to your original document. Merge your text layer with background layer by pressing Ctrl+E

Go to Image>Rotate Canvas>90 degree CW. Your image will appear like this:

Now go to Filter>Stylize>Wind. Choose your method as Wind and Direction from the Left. Click OK. Now, Press Ctrl+F to repeat the filter. Your image will now appear like this:

Now go to Image>Rotate Canvas and choose 90 degree CCW.

Go to Filter>Stylize>Diffuse. Choose the mode as Normal and click OK. Your image will now look like this:

Choose Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Enter the radius as 2.0 pixels.

Go to Image>Mode and click on Indexed colour. Now again go to Image>Mode>Colour table. Select Black Body.

Go to Image>Mode and select RGB. Your image now:

Switch to the duplicated layer and duplicate it more by going to Layer>Duplicate Layer and choose the destination to the name of Your original document. The white text will appear at the same position as it was before.

Press D key to choose your foreground colour as Black. And then Finally press Shift+Alt+Backspace to fill your text with black colour. Done!

The final image will appear like this:

The Flaming Effect Tutorial: Final Result

Now u can merge the layers and add the text to your previously made signatures. In this case I'm adding the text to a background along with a pic of Gohan
