This tutorial will show you how to make realistic wood and will work from photoshop 7 to CS3. It will also show us how to use actions and some of the uses that the fibre, filter has.
All you need to know about making realistic metal adding cracks and rust.
1. Create new document (File - New , 500 to 500 pixel 72 dpi, Mode: RGB Color, Contents: white)
Now give your background Layer (Layername=Background) a new color. Choose color CC9966 and fill your document with the Paint Bucket Tool.
1. Today we create some cool rock texture that migth applied in many different ways.
2. Create a new document 1024*768 pixel. Fill the background with black and apply the Noise Filer with this settings.
3. Make a new Layer, call this Layer Emboss.
1. Create new document, size 5 x 4 cm, 300 dpi
2. Filter >> Render >> Fiber
3. Make some color
Image >> New adjustment layer >> Color balance
